CHOIR ACCOMPANIST

Dilworth Lutheran Church is seeking a part-time choir accompanist. The choir accompanist
gives leadership to the choral music of Dilworth Lutheran Church. Under the direction and
supervision of the Choir Director, this position is to assist in the development of the worship
and music life of the congregation.

Responsibilities
• Playing the piano or other keyboard instruments to accompany the choir during
Wednesday rehearsals and Wednesday and Sunday worship services. The choir
rehearses weekly, and sings in Wednesday and Sunday worship services approximately
two times per month.
• Coordinating with the choir director.
Education and Experience
• Advance musical experience or music degree welcome; college or advanced high school
student considered.
• Must be able to play choral accompaniments, including all voice parts separately and in
combination.
