HOME-BASED MINISTRY
Home Centered Ministry recognizes the home as the central location where values and faith are nurtured and passed on. Here at Dilworth Lutheran Church, we seek to share the freeing Gospel of Jesus through learning, service and worship. In practice, this means that we offer cross-generational service, learning, and worship. This includes adults in each confirmation class, youth serving on church boards, and people of all ages serving our neighbors here in Dilworth and in the greater F/M area.
We aspire to engage and equip each home through practices that strengthen a Christian life. We call these 4 Keys for Christian Living.
4 KEYS FOR CHRISTIAN LIVING
We seek to grow in the tradition of God’s faithful people throughout history. We take inspiration from Deuteronomy 6, “Keep these words that I am commanding you today in your heart. Recite them to your children and talk about them when you are at home and when you are away, when you lie down and when you rise. Bind them as a sign on your hand, fix them as an emblem on your forehead, and write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates.”
