We want every member of every home to have living faith! We do this with a variety of strong youth ministries designed to support faith in Christ in kids of all ages from birth through adulthood. Many of our ministries include milestone classes that have been designed to teach, engage, and grow faith. These Milestone classes begin in pre-school and conclude with high school graduation.
After each milestone, the entire home is blessed in worship to remind parents and homes of the connection between home and congregation. We encourage homes to invite parents, grandparents, aunts/uncles, siblings, and other caring adults to be a part of this important event that takes place in a child’s life.

CHURCH SCHOOL & CONFIRMATION
During the school year, our building vibrates with the joy and faith of hundreds of young people in Sunday and Wednesday School. Our Church School program includes classroom learning, large group time, and music.
Youth in grades 7-9th grade spend three Wednesday nights a month here at church, with a parent or mentor, in classes and activities that grow strong foundations for Christian faith and life. The three years of confirmation include a full year of Bible study, a year of faith foundations, and a year of applying faith in an ever-changing world. Youth confirm their faith in the fall of their 10th grade year, or at another time during high school.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Each summer, we host a week of day camp here in Dilworth. This is led by Camp Emmaus staff and includes a traditional Vacation Bible School schedule of music, games, activities, Bible study, and an afternoon field trip.

Each year, dozens of youth spend part of their summers at Pathways Camp Emmaus outside of Menagha, Minnesota, and Luther Crest Bible Camp, outside of Alexandria.
VISIT LUTHER CRESTVISIT CAMP EMMAUSNATIONAL YOUTH GATHERING
Every three years, Dilworth Lutheran Church sends youth and adult leaders to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s National Youth Gathering. This faith-packed event introduces youth to our wider faith and the church in the US and around the world.
