Within our congregation, music is an integral part of our weekly worship experience as well as seasonal celebrations. We strive to empower believers to spread the Good News of the gospel through music and we encourage people to offer their gifts with excellence in praise to our Almighty God. The music ministry seeks to promote not only deepening relationships with Jesus Christ but also more profound relationships with one another.
Opportunities for involvement include multiple vocal ensembles, instrumental opportunities, contemporary worship teams, visual arts and more. Senior Choir: SATB (ALL ages welcome) Rehearses Wednesdays (September – May) 7:30-8:30 pm. This ensemble provides musical leadership and presents choral anthems for musical offerings for Sunday mornings and some Wednesday evenings. The choir also presents special seasonal music and music for other events and worship services, including two major works per year.
Celebration Worship Team: (Teen-Adult) Rehearses Wednesdays 5:30-6:15 pm and Sundays at 9:30 am (September-May) in the sanctuary. This ensemble provides contemporary musical leadership and special music at our Wednesday evening services which are at 6:45 pm and for our Sunday morning 10:30 services. This band includes vocals, guitars, drums, piano and rhythm leadership to make your worship experience uplifting.
